Australia's own V Festival lands as usual in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth in March/April 2009. How do I get there?
The Park is only minutes walk from Oxford St, Bondi Junction and the City. For more information visit, www.centennialparklands.com.au.

Is there public transport available?
There are many Bus Stops located around the perimeter of the Parklands. Bus Services are frequent. (Please call 131500 for more information). Bondi Junction and Central Station are the closest railway stations. You can catch buses that will drop you near one of the gates from both stations The Parklands are only 10 to 15 minutes' walk from Bondi Junction. PLAN AHEAD, USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT: call the transport info line on 131500 or visit www.131500.com.au. After the event free buses will operate from the Parklands to Central Station.

Is there car parking available?
Due to numbers and limited car parking, we encourage festival goers not to drive to the venue and to alternatively use public transport where possible. We are working with the Public Transport Service to make sure there is additional transport for the event.

How long will it take to get through the gates/security checks?
As with any major event you should allow yourself ample time to get through the gates. Depending on the time of day crowds and security checks may take some time

What are the gate opening and closing times?
Gate open times will be confirmed closer to the event, however gates are likely to open early afternoon, and the event will conclude by 10pm.

What should I bring with me on the day?
PHOTO ID as proof you are 18+ years of age, ticket(s), adequate cash, mobile phones (with charged battery), sunscreen, sunglasses, suitable clothing and footwear. Free water will be available at the event.

Am I allowed to bring my camera?
Cameras for personal use are permitted (no professional zoom) Note: all video cameras and sound recording devices are prohibited.

Are there passouts from the venue? No, once you exit the gates (after entry) you will not be permitted to exit and re-enter

What bathroom facilities are there available?
There will be ample toilet facilities on site including facilities appropriate for the mobility impaired.

Is there food available to purchase?
A variety of food options will be available for purchase.

How do I get there?
From Pacific highway take Exit 77 and travel East along Gooding Drive. From Robina Parkway travel west on Boowaggan Road.

Two drop off and pick up areas will be set up:

* Traveling from the east - Gooding Drive left hand lane in front of Merrimac State School, just before the Boowaggan Road intersection.

* From the west at the German Club car park off Gooding Drive.

There will be strictly NO set down in front of the venue.

Is there public transport available?
Nearest train station is Robina Passenger Railway Station - Bayberry Lane, Robina. Contact QR on 13 12 30 or visit www.qr.com.au.

Park & Ride - Robina Train Station, Cheltenham Dr, Robina. Take exit 79 East from the Pacific Highway and travel to the East side of Robina Station where the Park and Ride will be operating

There will be NO Park & Ride or shuttle facility operating from Carrara Stadium

Designated Shuttle points will operate from Robina Train Station & Broadbeach from the Gold Coast Highway outside Jupiters Casino

The first shuttles to Avica will depart Robina Station and Broadbeach at 12pm. Return shuttles to Robina Station will meet the trains to Brisbane. The last train to Brisbane departs Robina at 10.53pm

Return shuttles will drop off in Broadbeach at Victoria Park. Further transfers will be available from Broadbeach to Surfers Paradise for post V Festival event.

Is there car parking available?
There is VERY LIMITED VIP pre paid parking at the venue at a cost of $40. VIP Parking can only be booked through Ticketmaster and MUST be purchased prior to the event - please note there MUST be at least 3 people in the car. To avoid disappointment and to improve your carbon footprint, you are much better off finding alternative ways to reach the venue (such as Park & Ride). There is NO parking permitted in the surrounding area or residential streets.

Special Event Tow away and Clearway zones will be in place throughout surrounding areas and enforced. Police Officers and Traffic Controllers will be providing access to local traffic only. How do I get there?
The Melbourne Showground's is located in Epsom Road, Ascot Vale. The venue is only 15 minutes drive from the city and 15 minutes from the Melbourne International Airport.

Is there public transport available?
Bus stops are conveniently located on Langs Road and Epsom Road. Bus service number 472 travels between Williamstown and Moonee Ponds via Footscray along Langs Road.

Tram number 57 leaves Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, and travels along Epsom Road to the Main Gate.

The Melbourne Showgrounds even has its own train station which operates from Flinders Street only for larger events. Please check the V Festival website closer to the event for a full summary of confirmed services.

How do I get there?
The Claremont Showground is just 15-20 minutes from Perth Central Business District. Road access is good from all parts of the city and public transport is comprehensive. The Showground has its own station and trains run from Perth Central for all major events.
